So you think you can hide, Eh?

Mr. Rundall, you think you're so wise...skipping state on April Fool's Day! Hah! There's no hiding from me...I'll be waiting for you when you return and I'll get you when you least expect it!

A little background on the kitchen sprayer...for the last four years, I've gotten Jamie every April Fool's Day with a little scotch tape around the kitchen sprayer. Yes, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. So now he wised up and figured he can't even be in the same state as the wife on the day of all days. Well, the kitchen sprayer, my scotch tape, and I will still be here when he comes home! The funniest time was in 2006; Ava was a baby and I asked Jamie to make her a bottle before I left to get my haircut. He said, "sure" and a minute later I heard a few choice words coming out of the kitchen...score! I laughed, he changed shirts. After reaming me out for getting him two years in a row and complaining about not being able to get the tape off of the sprayer, he made some comment about getting the bottle made before Ava got crabby. I told him to just go fill it in the bathroom. "Why?" he asked as he turned the kitchen faucet on again. {insert more choice words} Yes, he sprayed himself again, only five minutes after the first time. I thought it was hilarious! (Maybe he has burnt pizza syndrome too?) Ava got Daddy this evening. When we called, she told him "It's 70 degrees here...April Fools!!!" Daddy didn't understand when she said "April Fools," so when I got on the phone with him, he said, "What? It's 70 degrees there?!" She got him good! (we all wish it was 70 degress...ENOUGH with the snow already!!!)

We all had big grins when we picked up Daddy at the airport. A snowstorm in Denver (where his flights connected) ended in a flight cancellation and we had to wait one more day before we got to see him, but we tried not to let it get us down. Ava was excited that she got to see Grampa Jeff and Grama Donna this weekend and told me, "Why don't you and Daddy go so I can be with Grama and Grampa?"

Zoe loves to give Daddy (and everyone else!) big kisses!

Ava and Daddy played legos...not sure
who had more fun...Daddy or Ava?

Daddy was quick to assume the responsibility of nap-inducer.

Both he and Zoe were snoring.

Ava and Zoe loved taking a bath with cousin Gavin. Grama Donna
thought it was funny when she told Zoe to get naked and she
immediately tried pulling her diaper off. Yes, she LOVES baths!

Before heading back to Montana, Daddy and Grampa Jeff
brought the girls for a ride on the Ranger.

  1. looks like you guys had a great time this weekend! I think the faucet sprayer needs to do double duty when he gets back to make up for the missed day!
